"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary they will walk and not be faint."
Isaiah 40:31
"He has made everything beautiful in its time..."
Ecclesiastes 3:11 (a)
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
"As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart."
Proverbs 27:19
I love this verse. Let's take some time to examine the reflection of our hearts...
So, what should our heart look like?
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
Galatians 5:22-23
Does your heart reflect love? Does it reflect joy? Does it reflect peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness? Do you put on gentleness and do you have self-control?
If it's in your heart, it's in your life.
Does your life reflect Jesus?
Even when no one's looking?
Even when people are looking?
What's your one desire?
What is your constant hope?
Where does your joy come from?
Take some time to consider these questions. Really think about them, then answer them. What needs to change? What needs to stay the same? What needs more effort? What needs perseverance in your life?
Remember....repentance means to change the way you think. If you change the way you think, it will eventually drop down into your heart and your life reflects your heart. Don't just turn from the sin, but change the way you think. If you only turn but don't change the motives of your heart then you are likely to turn back to that same sin.
What is your reflection?....
Does it reflect Jesus?.....

He loves.
It's real.
It's living.
It's Jesus.
...He is here, He is now.
He's living and He's alive.
His love is amazing...
...More coming soon...
"Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live and in your name I will lift my hands"
Psalm 63:3-4

"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace."
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
All seasons are different, but all have their own unique beauty:
While winter is cold and harsh, there is a beauty that can be found within the snow.
Spring rains pour down, but they water the earth and from it grows the things that make the outdoors beautiful.
Autumn brings change that knows lots of colors.
Summer is scorching hot, no doubt, but it
brings freedom on it's winds.
We are all in different seasons. Just as you can
find beauty in the physical seasons, you can
find beauty in the spiritual seasons of your life.
God is so gracious to give us those beautiful things
hidden between all the pain and bitterness.
Remember, it is just a season :-)
And no matter how hard or how painful it may
get, He will never let you go!
"You have madeknown to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand."
